Governor! People are reading my letters across the U.S. A NH state senator tells me that the Internet gives me more coverage than the newspapers could. You last week send the State Police to storm my house to tell me to stop writing. Judge Peter Fauver last month sends the Sheriff to arrest me to stop my writing. The VA examines me and tells me nothing is wrong, that my service related injuries are fictional. The Pain from my broken back does not exist. My inability to hear others speak is my silent choice. That the pain in my head, loss of memory resulting in periods of disappearing perception of reality at inconvenient times, daisy ness and flash backs to a time best forgot is not in the VA budget to treat. The VA and Boston Globe tell me to commit suicide before writing another letter. I volunteer yesterday to help Bambi Miller at the Strafford County Conservation District plant sale the day after visiting the VA medical. I suffer serious pain and loss of reality late in the after noon, only topped by blood gushing from my nose and right eye seconds after I get home. (My blood pressure is considered low to normal) The VA suicide hot line, Local Police, and government officials harass my family to create an environment to push me into suicide. Governor where are the ethics that you promised the people of NH.
My condition is not fictional as the VA and NH government want people to believe. I was injured three times during my tour. Two of my injuries came during combat support missions. My flash-backs are from living in conditions that would make a pig squeal and my first kill which a NH rep tells me, military people do not talk about “in country” back in the real world. Does the Real World exist? Governor should you be worried about my letters on the internet? How can NH senators and other government officials read my letters and not be compelled to correct the wrongs in government.
Suicide is a quitters way out, but do you think maybe it would be better than living in a world where Veterans are second class citizens? A world where the Veterans service related pain and suffering is deemed justified because the Veteran dares to continue to write letters to the editor for the benefit of others not himself? Do you understand why so many Veteran’s commit suicide before coming home and after they get home? We are back in a world that we do not belong, a world that can not perceive what we returned as.
Governor do you understand why people are reading my letters? My letters are like a fictional novel. My letters are so unbelievable they are like my head “reality sometimes does not exist”. My letters are so unbelievable the newspapers refuse to allow the public to read them. The truth is reality: but in your world the truth no longer matters when it can be used to make a disabled Veteran suffer. WE THE PEOPLE hope that someday (you) will understand what a returning veteran is. I hope that the someday comes before it is to late for the Constitution to have any meaning left.
