Joe McQuaid wrote a great editorial on Newspapers making the news. He talked about changes and the economy. He communicated with the people. Now if he would learn to listen to his readers maybe he could write an editorial about the VA and other government personal learning to listen to the people. The people are the best source of news available to the paper. Each town has people writing letters describing wrongs. Let the people tell the news. One letter from each town, from different people scattered across the different pages of the paper would make any newspaper, that of it’s readers. The articles would be opinion of the local people and have no libel to the newspapers. The best part is that it would be at no expense to the papers. Is change so hard to try and maybe find a newspaper taking off because it is the people’s paper. The goal of advertising is to reach the people.
Only the NH free press prints my letters once in awhile. Editors of most newspapers hate seeing my daily letters. The thing is people want to read my letters because they are facts of what is happen to us the people. My letters go out to over 2800 emails. Veteran’s and Disabled want to read my letters because they identify what is happening to them. The newspapers will print a article on miss treatment of Veterans when the story can be sensationalized. Then the veteran is placed on the back burner until. Can there be any more important resource than that of the People. Can there be any more reason than to print the people’s words. Let the people’s words tell senator’s like Judd Greg wasting money on another UNH building just to carry his name, could be better spent on care of the people. Maybe print the words of the people would make our elected officials help all people that write their office rather than only helping those that helping will advance their career. Veteran’s as all U.S. citizens need to participate in making this nation better. Communication is the civilized society’s way of doing the right thing. I have not been violent and will not. It seems violence is the only way to make a difference when communication is stopped. I make a point to volunteer every day to help some one. I volunteer to make you the United States better for all.
I am a 100% disabled Veteran. You are tired of hearing this. The fact is I am tired of the pain in my head and body. I am tired of reliving (what I did to protect and defend your freedom) ever day. I am tired that I came back alive, when so many better than I did not. I am tired of failing each time to kill myself because someone up there decided that it is not my time. I am tired of telling you that the VA stopped my medical care. I am tired of not being able to sleep. The thing is that my letters reach so far that learning how many veterans get neglected or cast aside because of pet project as Greg’s tires me out.
Joe wrote a great editorial. Now Joe and all newspapers just needs to listen to what he is saying.
