In-ability to 4-22-09

In-ability to 4-22-09

The NH newspapers refuse to print my letters and the Concord Monitor because one or two people complained refuses to post my comments on their letter page. What type of freedom do we have. Is only the opinion of the people we like or those opinions that are liked printed. Has this diverse society become limited to only the select. I have not harmed anyone or called anyone names. What I have done is tell the truth. The truth scares people but it stands on its own. The responses from other veterans living in hell because they can not get out of it. (the place our minds will not let us leave) encourages me. This is the importance of the opinion page. I noticed in the UL today a letter crediting Shea-Porter for helping Vets. My letter about the truth of what Shea-Porter does will be censored. Can our freedom of the press be allowed to limit the truth from the readers. I personally like Shea-Porter and I voted for her. That does not mean I will not tell the truth when she violates the rights of the people. My Shea-Porter letter appeared in the Veterans Today on the web. It called me the author as a staff writer. Can you imagine the people that are reading my words. The words of someone that has been there and can not come home. What I did over there and what I have done back here are sometimes unbelievable. The joke in the UL yesterday defined what our U.S. Military over there feel. Home is a place that we do not belong and a place that will never accept what we have become. The UL with its joke illustrated the very thoughts of veterans yet the editor is unaware of its meaning.
The people that complain about my letters tell me to get medical help. The VA stopped my medical care. You just do not seem to be convinced. The newspapers call my letters repetitive but my health is not. What our elected officials past and present have done not only to me but the lost forgotten veterans on the street. The Veterans coming home now and in the future can not be tolerated to be forgotten. Yesterday a lady talked in the opinion page of a paper about helping Uganda soldiers with U.S. money. This is the attitude of the people and our elected officials. Help only the situations that will give the most imagine building publicity. Wasted tax dollars that can be diverted to pet projects that will do nothing but drain the budget. Forget the U.S. Veteran when possible.
Yesterdays letter had dark moments in it. Veterans across the nation and beyond contacted me to tell me (what you that have not been there will never know). Because of my head injury when that lady spit on me the moment that I stepped off the plane on U.S. soil did not hit me for years. This was the start of a mirage of people praising veterans with one hand and giving us the finger when no one is looking. Yesterdays letter should be a wake up call for your child that is coming home now and in the future. You that are complaining about me what will you think when it is your child or relative that joins the military and comes home as one of us ( A Veteran that does not belong).
The NH newspapers may refuse to print my opinion but I am a U.S. Marine and our country the United States Of America will all ways come first. Our elected officials and public may not want us (Veterans). The In-Ability of our mental state gives you the upper hand but I will not give up even with my death.
