AP response: Child Responsibility 12-01-08

“Children, Lie Cheat and Steal, but say they’re good” New York AP puts out article describing “Americans are too apathetic about ethical standards”. The ethical standard of the news media has lapsed or banished of any ethical standard so where do they get the right to mock our children. Newspapers are a private business but have unwritten laws or rules which our forefathers granted them Constitutional protection because of the importance to “We the People”. The opinion of the people to write letters to the editor to point out the wrongs in government. We the people being able to respond to newspaper articles or editorials as an honest counter view. Children get their ethics or personality development from adults. If the news media has no ethics and looks for way to violate the people’s trust this is what our children will learn from. It is like being the states leading newspaper and holding journalism school where the only ethics is how to manipulate the truth to sell more papers. It is called sensationalizing the story. Our children develop from the environment that they grow up in.
It is like the way we treat Veterans. 89% of the US population will never serve in our military. Children are taught (the unwritten rule)to respect veterans when it can aid their lives. Children learn to ignore or question what these veterans are and what they did? It is called freedom of expression. My Response to AP and News Media over the past years has been ignored by the news media or manipulated to be used as material to harm my character in the public eye. I ran for NH state senate this past primary. The news media wrote great articles about other candidates but used damaging one liners to turn the voters against me. The news refused to print my opinion letters to inform the voters of my platform. The Ethics that the media demonstrates for our children is what they will learn.
Judge Peter Fauver criminally violated the Constitution. Judge Fauver used the powers of the court to allow the Madbury NH selectmen to get revenge on local residents for personal reasons with government powers. This would be a libelous statement if it was not the truth and verifiable. This statement is document in NH Supreme court records as the truth. The NH supreme court covered it up. I have violated no laws. What I have done is volunteer my time to help US citizens from a different town than I live in because that is what US Marines do. We give our lives to Protect and Defend our Constitution. We respect and honor every US citizens rights to be treated equal and just under the law.
I am a 100% service connected disabled Veteran. Three of my four disabilities are combat related from separate missions. The VA went so far as to stop my medical care to aid NH in stopping my letters to the editor. The VA director in NH told me to commit suicide. The AP and the news media refuse to inform the public. The news media went so far as to allow the Boston Globe to tell me to commit suicide in an email before I send them another letter to the editor. Do ethics exist in the news media or AP?
If the AP wants to talk about ethics in our children maybe they should print the response of the public to their own “Apathetic ethical standards” that our children will learn to follow as the future standards of journalism. It is hard to teach that which you lost to sensationalism. Is my response to truthful to publish as all my other letters are?
