Jackson NH - injured Veteran’s heroes

It is a time of year for memories and that is what Jackson NH is doing not just for these two families but for all to see and hear about. I read the story of how this small town decided to give a gift to two injured veterans and their families. The entire town is participating in making the United States a home for all. Granted it is only two families but these two families represent all of use. To me the US is one family. We help each other in times of need and together make times of joy. This one town is saying what we all feel, but do not know how to show it. We need to volunteer our time, with just a open hand. We need to learn once again how to accept a friendly hello as only that. We need to forget the hidden agenda and accept that a person can volunteer to help someone with out wanting something in return. Memories are made from these times when an entire village can give to two injured veteran’s families but the joy is received by all whom hear about it. Jackson NH is representing all of us with this kind hand of joy.
It has been a hard year for many and some think investigating why Public service may have done something wrong during the power outages is necessary. Every one wants to investigate and waste when giving can be so much more rewarding. If every one could just open up their hands and hearts to make life better for others, a self joy will just grow. Memories will be made and your young, will see joy where it may not have been in your life’s before. Veterans are all around you. We are you. These are the citizens that gave so that your memories could freely be made with out question. Veterans do not want anything from you except not to have what we gave for to be forgotten. “Constitution”
In my eyes all Veterans are heroes. I feel a joy for what Jackson NH is doing. An entire town opened a hand to two injured Veteran’s and their families. I don’t feel joy because these are veterans but because it is unity and self sacrifice for others. All Veterans are heroes to me and deserve the “world”. I am not one of them (a Hero). I am that crazy 100% disabled Veteran that writes letters every day. I am that person that believes open communication is better than conflict in a civilized society. I am that crazy US citizen that volunteers every day to help others.
Jackson NH opened a joy in my heart that makes what I did seem worth it. The Memory of what Jackson NH did will all ways be with me. Jackson NH is a Hero to me.
